Amman – A formal dinner was held at one of the capital’s premier hotels to mark the official launch of the Jordanian American Business Council (JABC), the executive arm of the Jordanian American Businessmen Association. The event gathered distinguished diplomatic, economic, and political leaders from Jordan and the United States, alongside representatives of partner and friendly nations.

The program included a strategic presentation outlining the Association’s vision, long-term objectives, and operational framework. It also highlighted membership pathways and upcoming initiatives, reinforcing JABC’s role as a dynamic platform for advancing bilateral economic and trade relations under the theme: “Where Diplomacy Meets Business.”

During the ceremony, Dr. Tarik Najib, Commissioner General and Chairman of the Association, awarded Honorary Memberships to the Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives and the U.S. Commercial Attaché in recognition of their continued support in strengthening bilateral cooperation and fostering public-private partnerships.

The event was attended by ambassadors, senior government officials, and prominent leaders across business, media, tourism, healthcare, education, and cultural sectors. In their remarks, the Chairman and the U.S. Commercial Attaché emphasized the Council’s regional and international relevance, underscoring its commitment to building sustainable economic bridges between the two nations.

As a strategic platform, the Jordanian American Businessmen Association connects companies, institutions, and professionals across Jordan and the United States—facilitating trade, investment, education, and innovation while creating meaningful cross-border opportunities.

In line with this mission, the Association announced the upcoming Global Innovation & Trade Expo, scheduled for September 17–19, 2026, at the Huntington Place Convention Center in Detroit, Michigan. The international event is expected to host more than 5,000 participants from over 30 countries, including senior officials, investors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders, with the aim of expanding market access, fostering innovation, and shaping the future of sustainable global trade.
